This article explains what happens to your data and billing when you uninstall and later reinstall the GV app.
I. Uninstalling the App
When the app is uninstalled, you will no longer be able to access data directly within the app interface. However, your data is not deleted and remains stored within your Shopify store.
You can continue to access and review your gift card information directly from your Shopify Admin.
Shopify Admin → Products → Gift Cards

II. Reinstalling the App
After reinstalling the app:
You will be prompted to select a pricing plan again.
You must approve the charge to reactivate the app and access its features.
III. Billing After Reinstall
Your charges after reinstalling depend on the plan you select:
Same plan as before uninstalling
Billing continues based on Shopify’s standard rules for the selected plan. Please refer to the related billing article for details. Shopify RuleUpgrade or downgrade to a different plan
If you choose a higher or lower plan, the charge will be prorated based on:The price difference between plans
The number of days remaining in the current billing cycle
This follows Shopify’s billing rules.
