Gift cards are treated as a form of currency, which means they are subject to strict security and privacy protections. For this reason, merchants are only able to view the last four characters of a gift card code in the gift cards overview.
The full gift card code is accessible only to the customer or the intended recipient. This limitation helps prevent unauthorized use and protects sensitive customer information.
Gift cards considerations and overview
If you or your customer need to retrieve the full gift card code, the recipient can access it directly from the gift card email they received or by contacting store support for assistance with resending the email.
