Introducing the Balance Reminder Email Feature

Modified on Mon, 9 Sep at 2:15 AM

One of the standout features of our GV app is the Send Reminder Balance email functionality, designed to keep your customers engaged and remind them of unused gift card balances. This feature ensures that no gift card goes unused, helping you boost repeat purchases while giving customers a seamless experience.

However, for a gift card to qualify for this reminder, it needs to meet a few essential conditions.

1. Balance Must Be Greater than 0

If a gift card has no remaining balance, there’s no value left to remind the recipient about. The balance reminder email will only be sent for gift cards with a positive balance, ensuring your customers can still redeem them.

2. The Gift Code Must Not Be Expired

An expired gift card cannot be redeemed, so it's essential that the code is still within its validity period. If a gift card has expired, the reminder email won't be triggered, preventing any confusion for the recipient.

3. Gift Code Must Be in Active Status

Only active gift codes will trigger reminder emails. If a gift card is inactive for any reason, whether it's been canceled or marked inactive manually, it won’t qualify for the reminder.

This feature is designed with customer satisfaction and your success in mind. When your customers are reminded about unused balances, it increases the likelihood of future purchases and strengthens brand loyalty. It also helps you keep gift cards organized, ensuring that only relevant and actionable reminders are sent.

With the Balance Reminder Email feature, you can easily encourage repeat business while offering a convenient nudge for your customers to complete their purchases.
