Social Activity: Reward Customers for Liking Your Facebook Page

The Like a Facebook Page program allows you to reward customers with store credits when they visit your store’s Facebook page. This helps increase brand visibility and encourage social engagement.

This feature is available as a Premium feature and is not supported on the Free plan.


Feature Location

Go to:

Loyalty Program → Loyalty Program → Social Activity

From here, you can enable and configure the Like a Facebook Page reward.


Enable the Program

  1. Navigate to Loyalty Program → Loyalty Program → Social Activity

  2. Find Like a Facebook Page

  3. Turn on the Activate toggle

By default, the program is disabled.


Program Settings

Credits Earned

Enter the amount of store credit customers will receive for participating.

  • Credits are applied as a fixed amount in your store currency.

  • Default value: $1




Credit Expiration

Choose how long the earned credits remain valid.

Options include:

  • Never expire (default)

  • Expire after a specific time (set days, months, or years)


Facebook Page Link

Enter your store’s Facebook page URL.

Example format:
facebook.com/page-id

Customers will be redirected to this page when they click the reward action.


Credit Note (Optional)

You can add an internal note that will appear in the customer’s credit history.


Customize the Launcher Display

You can customize how the program appears in the loyalty widget.

Go to:

Loyalty Program → Customization → Launcher



Steps:

  1. Open Program & Rewards

  2. Select Like a Facebook Page

  3. Customize the content

  4. Click the Preview (eye icon) to see how it appears to customers


How Customers Earn Credits

  1. The merchant enables the program.

  2. The reward appears in the Loyalty Launcher.

  3. Customers log in to their account.

  4. Customers click the Facebook action and are redirected to the store’s Facebook page.

  5. If the customer has not previously received the reward, credits are added to their account.

Each customer can earn this reward once per account.


Important Note

The app only redirects customers to your Facebook page and cannot verify whether the customer actually clicks the Like button on Facebook.
