The Follow on TikTok program allows merchants to reward customers with store credit when they visit the store’s TikTok profile. This feature helps increase brand visibility and encourages customers to engage with your brand on social media.
This program is available as a Premium feature and is not accessible for stores using the Free plan.
Feature Location
To configure the program, navigate to:
Loyalty Program → Loyalty Program → Social Activity → Follow on TikTok
From this page, you can enable the program and set up the reward conditions.
Enable or Disable the Program
The Follow on TikTok program is disabled by default.
To activate the program:
Go to Loyalty Program → Loyalty Program → Social Activity
Select Follow on TikTok
Toggle the Activate / Deactivate option

Once enabled, the reward program can appear in the loyalty launcher on your storefront.
Program Settings
After enabling the program, you can configure the following settings.
Credits Earned
Define how much store credit customers will receive for participating in the program.
Enter the credit amount based on your store currency
The credit is issued as a fixed value
Default value: $1

Example:
If you enter 5, customers will receive $5 in store credit when they participate.
Credit Expiration
You can choose how long the earned credit remains valid.
Available options:
Never expire (Default)
Credits will remain valid indefinitely.
Expire after a certain period
Credits expire after a specific duration.
You can define the expiration period in:
Days
Months
Years

TikTok Profile Link
Enter your store’s TikTok profile link or username.
This field is required because customers will be redirected to this profile when they click the reward action.
Example:
tiktok.com/@your_store
Credit Note (Optional)
You can add an optional internal note for the credit transaction.
This note will appear in the customer’s credit history for reference.
Customize the Program Display in the Launcher
You can customize how the Follow on TikTok program appears in the loyalty widget.
Navigate to:
Loyalty Program → Customization → Launcher
Steps:
Go to Program & Rewards
Select Follow on TikTok
Customize the content displayed in the launcher
Click the Preview icon (eye icon) to review the storefront display

This allows you to control the text and presentation of the reward.
Customer Credit Flow
Below is the typical process when a customer participates in the Follow on TikTok program.
1. Program Activation
The merchant enables the Follow on TikTok program.
2. Program Display
The program appears in the Loyalty Launcher on the storefront.
3. Customer Login
Customers must log in to their account before participating.
4. Redirect to TikTok
When the customer clicks the TikTok icon, they will be redirected to the store’s TikTok profile.
5. Credit Verification
The system checks whether the customer has already earned credit from this program.
If the customer has not earned credit before, the system issues the configured store credit.
Each account can earn this reward only once.
Earn History Record
When the credit is issued, a record will appear in the customer’s Earn History, including:
Date – The date the customer participated in the program
Type – Received
Event – Adjustment
Origin – TikTok
Amount – Credits earned
Balance – Remaining store credit
Expired Date – Based on the program’s expiration settings
Internal Note – The note entered in the program settings (if provided)


Customer Notification
After the credit is successfully issued, the system sends a Credit Received Email to notify the customer.
Important Note
The app only redirects customers to your TikTok profile.
It cannot verify whether the customer actually followed your TikTok account.
