Currently, GV Gift Card does not integrate with Shopify POS. This means that POS-related actions such as issuing, redeeming, or managing GV Gift Cards directly within a physical point-of-sale environment are not available at this time.
We recognize that Shopify POS support is an important feature for merchants who operate both online and in-store, and we want to assure you that this functionality is already part of our product roadmap. Our planned POS enhancements include several key capabilities:
1. Redeeming gift cards issued through GV Gift Card directly in Shopify POS,
2. Using QR codes to simplify and speed up in-store gift card redemption
3. Issuing new gift cards directly from the POS system.
Although these features are not yet available, they are actively planned for future development. While we are unable to provide a specific release date, we encourage you to stay tuned for updates as we continue to expand and improve our platform.
